About the Artist
Meet André P. Courchesne, an incredible artist from Lavigne, a charming rural French community in Northern Ontario, Canada. Growing up in a family filled with talented musicians, artists, and skilled woodworkers, André was surrounded by creativity from a young age.
When André was only seven years old, he experienced a deep loss—the passing of his beloved father. Despite this sadness, he found comfort and inspiration in the beautiful woodwork his father had left behind. This sparked a lifelong passion for André, igniting his love for the craft.
André is not just an artist; he's also a gifted inventor. His remarkable ability to imagine intricate designs that blend different mediums and techniques is truly exceptional. Whether he's using a pencil, airbrush, granite etching, or sculpting, André's creations go beyond the ordinary, resulting in incredible inventions and breathtaking artwork.
